“As a school counselor, I completely appreciate and support Kids on the Block. The puppets really capture the attention of our students and I rely on the programs to reinforce the lessons that I teach.”

Wendy Wilson
Oak Grove Elementary School

"Children are more accepting than adults. At times parents and other adults influence cultural values and choices in a negative way. Kids should be taught how to sort out negative influences and prejudices from adults. You program encourages kids to see all kids of differences."

Counselor
North Plains Elementary

Our Educational Programs

We would love to bring an unforgettable Kids on the Block performance to your school or community group!

Barbara and Glen performing the Cultural Differences Show at Lot Whitcomb ElementaryTo schedule a show, please email us or call the Kids on the Block office at (503) 736-3200 or (360) 433-5697. Small audiences are best, so that more kids can actively participate in the experience, but we can accommodate groups as large as 100 or as small as 20 children.

Kids on the Block offers a variety of educational programs to give kids the skills they need to thrive in today’s world. All of our programs are kid-tested and developed with educators and a panel of experts in the subject area.
